Today, I started Louis Sachar's Cardturner. It was just released this morning. It is about the game of bridge and a teenager...it is better than it sounds. Sachar is the author of the Newbery award winner Holes, which became Disney movie. Next week, on Monday, Sachar will be signing books at my Barnes and Noble. I will be doing his introduction and need to read his newest book by then so I can talk about it. I am really excited to introduce someone I read when I was younger. It is so inspiring to have these types of interactions. :)
Today, I scheduled my interview for Millennium School in Homewood for Wednesday at 1. I cannot wait!!!!
Well, I have to be awake at 6:50AM tomorrow. I have tomorrow night off, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning all off. I am super excited. In that time, though, I will have to go see the orthopaedic doctor to look at my bad wrist. I am wearing a splint at the moment.

- I teach 5th and 6th grade Choir and General Music in Homewood School District #153. During the evening, I attend graduate school at Concordia University Chicago for a Master's in School Leadership; I just obtained my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and ESL. I am certified to teach in South Carolina and Illinois. I like to talk to people. I am very sociable and very involved. Anyone who knows me will atest to that. I am big into fitness...all the time...maybe too much sometimes. I love photography. I love to travel. This past year I have traveled to France, England and Ireland. I have also been formerly to England, France, Thailand and a few more. I own two chinchillas, Emma and Izzy.
